Not really laughable

I started this blog 3 years ago and have a total of 2 entries! I am a busy women and have not yet got hooked on blogging--although I love to read my dil blogs and pics of grandchildren.
Well running and living in an adult family home is alot of work and there is alot that goes on that most people would not be able to handle without a sense of humor.
This incident is not exactly laughable.
Me "Resident, what are you doing?"
Resident "Nothing"
Me "What is in your hand?"
Resident "Mud"
Me "I don't think that is mud, smell it"
Then as I was leaving the room (another caregiver was still in the room), I commented "I think I will need some shoes"

All was well, just matter- of- factly showered resident, while other care giver cleaned and Cloroxed floor, and walls, and door, and bed, and, and, and.

Found again!

I just found my blog by commenting on another blog and clicking on "google account" under the "select profile". Wow! 2-1/2 years! That is like my Facebook account. I signed up at request of my cousin Shirlene, and then a couple of years later, when I signed up at the encouragement of my friend, Michele, I found that I had an account. Well I did close that account on account of I could not manage all the email I got about friend of friend, I posted on your wall (I didn't even know what my "wall" was or how to post), the requests to do some "farming", etc. I am pretty much a private person and really cannot understand all the "sharing", but I do like to read about others. Hense, (I guess I made up a word since it is underlined in red!) I started to read the blogs of my daughter-in-laws. From there I clicked on a craft link and whoo-lah (another made-up word), I found the world, crazy huge, of blogging.
Maybe I will slowly get blogging going--but under another blog, cute, not boring. who am I kidding, It will be another couple of years before I get back to learning about this--(however, trophymom.blogspot.com) did interest me by sharing ways to earn a little $ blogging, so maybe I will find the time sooner. First I will have to figure out how to get photos off my camera which I hardly use anymore because of the small screen (1 inch square) that I cannot see because I am becoming blind without reading glasses.' because I do notice that they do post alot of photos.
Time to really get dressed and working.

Why Adult Family Home Laughables?

If you are in the business, you understand what an Adult Family Home is, and what talents, you naturally possess to be able to live-breathe-and eat AFH life 24/7, or else you live some where else and you have staffing 24/7. Why I got into this line of business. I am a mom of 7. Compassionate, patient loving care came naturally to me-- a god-given talent. So, as my family grew and left the home--it was natural to fill it with others to care for. A check into the foster care program, and with our living on property with a creek which we would have to fence (Can you imagine fencing in a creek that runs through your 20 acres? and I admit the small reimbursement you receive from the State, and the bouncing of the children to their parents for visits, the "not always fun" adolescent and teen years, ended that thought.
Time to get to work though
so maybe I can continue this when I get a bit of time
